Access plate is fitted to the tank before closing baffle plate. The fuel pick up tube is at right position. There is the desired gap between the fuel sender float and bottom of fuel tank

Sealant is applied to the rear flanges of fuel tank ribs, a bead of sealant is also applied to the forward of the rivet lines, both top and bottom surfaces, for baffle plate



A big bolb of sealant is appled to the corner where inboard rib meets baffle plate
