05-21-2011: 4 hrs 

-Made a wooden breaker, bought 2x8x10 and cut to two 4-footer, with 4 door hinges

-Final bend the right elevator skin

-Preped right tip rib and counter balance rib, final drilled them to spar

-Drilled holes on counter balance weight, need to determine how much to trim after the whole elevator is done

- Final drilled rudder skin to skeleton


Starting building a sheet metal breaker


A fluted right elevator tip rib sitting on top of the wooden breaker


Tip rib and counter balance rib are clecoed and final drilled


Refinorcement plate is clecoed to right elevator spar and final drilled


Refinorcement plate is clecoed to right elevator spar and final drilled


Tip rib and counter balance rib are clecoed to spar


Tip rib and counter balance rib are clecoed to spar


Counter balance skin and weight are fitted in




Counter balance weight is drilled to the front flange of the tip rib and C.B rib


Counter balance weight removed after drilling

Everything for right elevator is final drilled, need to disassemble and dimple, prime for final riveting
