Spent 2 hrs today to finish riveting the right elevator. Overall, the riveting process went well, there are 2 bad looking rivets between the tip rib and counter balance rib, but structually should be ok. Based on lessons learned, I didn't drill out. "DON'T DRILL OUT A RIVET JUST BECAUSE IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD". The right elevator is almost done. Just need to roll the leading edge. I will wait until the left elevator is complete and roll the leading edge together.

Root rib is riveted to the spar, two "oops" rivets are used here due to enlarged holes caused by drilling out bent rivets

Right elevator horn is riveted to the spar and root rib

Right elevator horn to root rib rivets

Elevator skin and counter balance skin are riveted at the two holes (enclosed by the clecoes and blue plastic). By pre-riveting now, flush head solid rivets can be used, otherwise, pop rivets are required

Right elevator skin is clecoed on to the skeleton for riveting

The transition from counter balance skin to right elevator skin looks good from this picture

RTV is used between the stiffeners at trailing edge

Right elevator is almost complete, except 8 rivets at the last two holes on tip and root ribs

Trailing edge looks pretty straight
