Bend the leading edge of the left elevator today. Still can't get it perfect. Though it looks real nice from outside, there is a gap between the top and bottom leading edge halves at rivet location. You won't see the gap from outside, you have to view from root to tip of the elevator to see the gap. Because the rivet will not transfer any structural load, and the only purpose of the rivet is to hold the top and bottom half leading edge together, the small gap should be acceptable.
The leading edge is rolled and clecoed. When clecoed, the gap between the top and bottom half lead edge is closed by the clamping force of the cleco. However, when pop riveting it, the gap is hard to get rid of unless you have a really nice roll of the leading edge.
