Finished the tie down assembly for left spar, worked on the wing stand

With lessons learned during fabricating the tie down assembly for the right spar, I used the double side tape for alignment at the beginning for the left tie down assembly

The location hole is drilled per plan

Holes are backed drilled, much better job than the right wing tie down

Screws are used to align the nutplates

Nutplate is clamped and ready to drill the rivet holes

Tie down assembly parts for the left wing, they just look better than the right wing I will follow the same procedure if I need to redo the tie down for the right wing (hope not, even the right wing tie down assembly doesn't look good, it is still structurally ok, and no one will see it once the wing is done.

Tie down bar and spacers are riveted together

Left wing tie down assembly is installed, the AN3 bolts are tightened to 23 in-lbs using a torque wrench from harbor freighter

Wing spar preparation is complete, will move to rear spar next

Spend some time to continue working on the wing stand. The spar supports are added, and the distance between the support columns is checked ok by trial fitting the spar as shown
