I changed my mind today, repositioned the firewall so the distance between firewall and fwd edge of side skin is 5/8". This ovalized the two holes I drilled earlier. I will enlarge them and put whoop rivets when riveting.





Firewall is repositioned so the 5/8" distance between side skin edge is maintained



Firewall is drilled


The edge margin of the firewall bracket looks good
