Fwd of F704 bulkhead riveting is pretty much done, right side shown
Fuel tank attachment area is riveted by three flush head rivet. Drawing calls for -6 rivet, but I really need to use -9. I could not find -9 rivets in my inventory, so I used -8. The shop head using -8 rivet is pretty small, but it should be ok. The three rivets really just hold the attaching angle to the side skin, is not the primary load path for load from fuel tank, which is taken by the bolts and screws.
Shop heads of the -8 rivets look small to me, but should be fine
Aux longeron and engine mount bracket are riveted
Right hand side conical area and lap joint are riveted
Almost ready to flip over, I still need to rivet the seat rib to side skin.
F902 bulkhead is riveted to lower longeron
Shop heads around conical bend area on left hand side. Not perfect, but ok. I had to use one whoops rivet on each side
Shop heads on lap joint
Another view of shop heads of lap joint
