Did misc. work today. First, I file the ignition key hole on the panel to a rough shape. I ordered the key today, I will finalize the hole when I have the key in hand. Then, I riveted the few rivets joining F705 bulkhead to gusset. Afterward, I riveted the top fwd center rib to firewall. Just right after riveting them together, I realized that I need to bend the firewall. The firewall should bend slightly fwd, it has been clecoed to the rib, and rib will force the firewall bent fwd. My concern is that the forced bent will put stress on the firewall, and vibration of the engine might eventually do it work and crack the firewall at the bend line. So, I un-clecoed everything I could (except the center rib which is already riveted), then clamped aluminum angles on both fwd and aft face of the firewall, then hand bent the firewall gentally. The results is not perfect, the bend line is not as sharp as I hoped, but it should fine. Aften bending the firewall, I then clecoed everything back on.
