Clecoed on every thing, including the tail cone, made sure the aft fuselage is straight and true using the plumb bob method per Van's instruction. Then I drilled the J channels to side skins. I had a little hard time to fit the tail cone to the side skins perfectly. The last few holes of the tail cone to side skins don't match well. After some laboring massaging, I can get the holes almost match. I could spend more time to make it better, but "perfect is the enemy of good enough", I just drilled them using #40 drill bit. It looks like the slight offset is taken care of by the final drill. I will check if the holes are enlongated after taking the aft fuselage apart for deburring. Keep my fingers crossed. Overall, the drilling process is better than I thought. I was pretty nervers after reading other builder's sites about the tail cone fitting issue. Still need to final drill other holes, but they should go through pretty quickly.

Plumb bob is used to make the fuselage square

Due to enlarged hole, I had to use a bolt and doubler there
