After dreading about canopy for a while, I started working on it. I trim cut the molding flange, and it went well for two sides. When cutting the front side, I wanted to adjust the position of the canopy before I finished the cut. And that is a BIG mistake. The very light force when moving the canopy is sure enough to initiate a crack starting right at the unfinished cut. The crack is about 6" long. I was so mad, so mad about myself. After cursing and cursing, I stop drilled the crack and started evalating the situation. The crack will only affect the windscreen portion. So I decided to continue working on this cracked canopy, trimed it, and sanded it before moving it (an expensive lesson). Then I made the big cut. I will work on the sliding canopy first, and see if I can live with the crack later. But, neverthless, this is a very bad day in my build. I still hate myself for making such a mistake. Sigh!

Big cut is made
