I have to say the canopy is the most difficult job so far. All the cutting, trimming leave such a mess. After a day's work, I was covered in the dust of plexiglas head to toe. Not fun. But I did get the sliding canopy drilled to frame and trimmed to final size. When trial fitting the canopy with frame to fuselage, I found the slidng motion is not smooth due to the expansion of frame with canopy. After removing the canopy and frame from fuselage, I measued the distance is at 42-4/8", while the distance between track is 41-5/8". The frame expanded almost 1" (1/2" each side). I will have to tweak the frame a little more when the canopy is removed from the frame.
