When I fit the left gusset, I paid so much attention to make sure the edge margin is ok perpendicular to the rivet line, but not much in the direction of the rivet line for the end riveeet on the firewall stiffener. Also, the drawing calls out a dimension that will put a short edge margin on the end ruet. I forgot the double check before drilling. So I have a short edge margin problem again on the firewall stiffener. The edge distance is about 1.5D. Will be ok for ultimate loads, but will affect fatigue life here. I will probably use a strap to fix it.

The right gusset is much faster. Also, I move the end rivet slightly so I won't have short edge margin on the firewall stiffener on the right side. The right gusset is installed with no issues.

Left gusset is clamped

I had to uncleco the skin so I can check the position of the gusset

The rivet holes between firewall stiffener and gusset are drilled. The dimensions on the drawing did not provide a good edge margin for the end rivet (top hole in this picture). I have to figure out a way to fix this without replacing the firewall angle, which could be a major hastle

On the right gusset, I moved the end hole down a little so there is no short edge margin issue

The edge margin is good on the right side
