10-08-2014: Hobb 65 hrs, TACH 56 hrs
Since I removed the cowling to trim the baffle for the slight interference between fwd baffle and cowling, I took the opportunity to inspect the baffle around the oil cooler, where many people reported cracks at low time. I did find some crack, but not at the common place. It's at the reinforcement box as shown below. I just stop drilled the crack, and will monitor the crack to see if it will propagate. If it does propagate passing through the stop hole, I will need to find a permanent fix.
