10-23-2011:
Continued working on the right aileron today. I have the stiffeners riveted to the skin and bent the skin. However, because the bend breaker is shorter than the aileron length, the bend is not perfect, there are a few slight bulges near the bend. Also, the bend is slightly curved, but it is so slight I don't think it will be a real problem. I will check it again once I have everything riveted together. I am a little disappointed with the imperfection. I will build on. The worst case, if I don't like the aileron later, I can builder another one. It shouldn't be an expensive component.

Skin is bent, this pictures shows the typical shop heads of the rivets. They look good.

You can see a slight curvature in the middle of the trailing edge. I will build on and try to correct it as much as possible when final riveting. I don't think this slight imperfection will be a real problem

Aileron inboard spar doubler is made and match drilled

Inboard spar doubler is primed, dimpled for the few flush head rivets, and finally riveted to the aileron spar

Two of the AN4704-4 rivets are over set a bit, but they are still within the spec. I will keep them
