One thing really bothered me for a long time. When I built my second right tank, I know I forgot to remove the blue plastic cover on the outboard bay before riveting the tank together. Though the outboard bay plastic cover could be removed from the fuel filler opening after the tank is closed (which I did), but I am not sure if there are plastic covers in other bay. I decided to do one last check before I will close the wing.
I moved the right wing to bench, then removed the side cover. I found a small video camera and small flash light that are small enough to go though the opening on the fuel baffle plates. I bundled them to a long straight aluminum edge using tape, to record what is inside the tank. The video is here. On the way in, the video is for tank bottom, on the way out, is for tank top. Though the lighting is not ideal, but the video is good enough to show that there is no plastic cover anywhere in the tank. That will put my mind into peace. The whole process took about 1 hour, but it is worth it.
