Drilled Dynon pitot heater controller box to rib, and installed nutplates on the rib. For one nutplate, one of the rivet hole would too close to the conduit hole on the rib, so I only drilled on rivet hole and use only one rivet to hole that nutplate in place. Ideally, I should get nutplate with rivets on the same side, but since the box is so light, and once screw is in, the rivet holding the nutplate is not doing anything anyway.
I also used 8-32 tap to go through the nutplates so the installation will be easier in such small space. I wish I could be a little more patient and do a better job on aligning the box relative with the rib. There is a slight tilt about horizontal axis (along wing), but hardly noticable if you don't look closely at where the nutplates are. None of the holes violate 3D rule between holes distance so I don't worry about that.
