01-26-2013: 10 hrs
The bottom skins for left wing perminantly riveted. The 10 hrs work is really the combination of work on 1/23 to 1/26. I spent about 1.5 hrs each day 1/23 to 1/25, then about 6 hrs on 1/26. I did all the riveting solo with wing on the cradle. The first few hours were very struggling, the rear spar to wing skin rivets are so hard to reach. The reason it took such a long time to rivet is I want to check each rivet after set with an inspection mirror, and I had to drill 5 of the them out. One of the them I had to drill out 3 times, and in the end, I had to use a MS-319 pop rivet to my rescue. That rivet is so hard to reach, I can't stablize my hand holding the bucking bar. Other than one pop rivet, and a few minor dings here and there, overall quality is good (my opinion) Good thing is all the dings are on the bottom skin, won't be that visible.
I still have the right wing to finish, then I can mate the wing to fuselage

I had to use a pop rivet here
