While still waiting for the hangar, I am trying to have much done as possible in the garage. I saw some builders did the wing tips after moving to hangar, I decided to tackle them now. So, I installed the landing/taxi light and position light to the left wing tip. Also cut the the wing tip cover for the lights. I used only two screws to fasten the wingtip cover, but it is a little loose. I will add two more screws later.
Part of the wingtip needs to be cut for landing and taxi lights. The cut off area is marked
Landing and taxi lights are assembled
Wingtip is cut for landing/taxi light assembly
Landing/taxi lights are installed to wingtip
Left nav light is installed
Electrical tape is used here. I might replace it with some real weather strip later
Wingtip lens is installed. I only used two screws for now. I may need to add more later
