Rod end bearings on the elevators are installed
The horizontal stab skin has to be trimmed to clear the elevator counterweight as shown above
Area to be trimmed is marked
Horizontal stab skin is trimed, elevator is taped "in trail"
Horizontal stab skin is trimed, elevator is taped "in trail"
The position of the two elevator horns matches pretty well, though not exactly the same, which is not expected anyway
