-Fabricated the straps for the corner ribs.
-Put on the fwd portion of the F704 bulkhead and final drilled with the bottom skin F776.
- There are four holes on the F776 to F704 fwd bulkead need to be countersunk, instead of being dimpled. I carefully did so
- Final drilled the seat ribs/bulkhead holes
Picture of center fuselage structure after corner ribs are drilled to skin
Fwd corner rib strap is fabricated and matched drilled with the corner rib and skin. This strap is made slightly narrower so it won't block the rivet hole. I couldn't find the material called out in the drawing for the strap, so I just used the 0.032" trim bundle left from wing kit
The aft straps are marked on the 0.032" trim bundle material
Corner rib straps. The one on the left is a fwd one. I had to trim this one a little to clear the rivet hole
The fwd part of the F704 bulkhead is added to the center fuselage structure
The bottom skin is drilled with the fwd F704 bulkhead
The aft corner rib strap is match drilled
Aft corner rib strap on the right side. The edge margin is barely ok
I had to trim the left fwd corner rib strap a little to clear the rivet hole
4 rivet holes on the bottom skin were countersunk per instruction
The rivet fits the hole just right
Trying to show the four countersunk holes here, but it is not clear
The F704 flange is countersunk for flush head rivet to the seat ribs
Time to take the structure apart. Bottom skin is removed
Baggage ribs are removed
Removed the seat rib, marked the position line for crotch strap bracket. I plan to just rivet the aft bracket for now because I haven't decided on what seat belt/strap system I will use
Aft crotch strap bracket is clamped for drilling
Clamped for drilling the other seat rib
Both seat ribs are drilled with the aft crotch strap bracket
