The instruction says to draw a center line on F796B, and align the centerline through rivet holes. There is no way you can do that since the fwd buckhead flange is limiting the edge distance. I just clamped the F796B, C and D together, using the holes drilled on F796C,D to position the spacer, then drilled them altogether. This turned out to be good. The edge margin on the F796 end hole is not gooding good, but there is not much you can do. After thinking about the load path, the F796B angel is really just there to provide stability of the aux and bottom longerons, while the longerons will take most of the load from fuel tank bracket. The longerons will have enough edge margin, so, the short edge margin on F796B will be ok.

I started the rudder and brake pedal assembly afterward. This is a fun little project. I got the pair on the pilot side all drilled and deburred. Still have the pair on the passenger side to go.

Left F796B,C,D are drilled, except the top hole. That hole will be drilled later

Right side

A pair of rudder and brake pedals are all drilled and deburred, ready to be riveted
