I have been thinking about the under seat wiring run for a while, I really don't like to drill big holes on bulkhead because I don't know how much that will affect the strength of the under seat structure over the years. On the other hand, I want the have an option to add more electrical equipments in aft fuselage in the future if needed. After reading other builders' log, I decided to drill the bulkhead to add conduit for wire runs. I have seen many builders did that, and no problems after many years of flying.I drilled two holes on F705 and F706, left and right, to run two conduits. I also fabricated 8 brackets, 4 for each conduit, for addtional support to the conduit. The end results are pretty good. I am ready to close the baggage floor.
Brackets for under floor conduits
Holeds for conduits are drilled
Conduits are installed
Conduit brackets are riveted to ribs using LP4-3 pop rivets
Conduit looks pretty good
