Finally, I got the firewall forward wiring done today (at least I think so unless something comes up again). This includes bundling can connecting all thermocouple wires for CHT and EGT, and routing/clamping the bundle to engine or engine mount. I didn't cut the wire harness provided by Dynon, just made some service loop to make the length fit. Overall, I am happy with the wire route, no interference so far.
Since there are so many small tasks to do, I just grab that I can see and get done. Next, I just sanded the spinner cut out for prop so the clearance to prop blade is good.
Then, time for the fuel hose between the firewall and mechanical fuel pump. The drawing calls for a KB-00 straight fitting, but there is an interference between the hose and prop governor. So I got out the 90 degree fitting I took out from the engine on the output port of the fuel pump. It fits right on. The 90 degree fitting was replaced by a T fitting coming with Van's FWF kit to route a fuel hose for fuel pressure.
