Had a out of town weekend getaway, still had enough energy to put some work on the aircraft. I removed the temporarily mounted vertical stab, and finished drilling the four holes between Horizontal stab/Vertical Stab mounting plate and the front spar of vertical stab. I had to use a 12" long drill bit, and bent it a lot to get these holes drilled. Then, I drilled the four fastener holes for AN3 bolts to final size. After cleaning and priming the mounting plate, I riveted the plate to the front spar of vertical stab. While the vertical stab is off, I also riveted the three 470AD4 rivets between aft deck and elevator upper stopper. The vertical stab was then mounted to the fuselage, followed by rudder, elevators.

Spent a little time to get the left rudder stopper, had it fabricated and drilled. I will rivet it at a later time.

Mounting plate is riveted to vertical stab front spar. Shop heads look good
