SV1 vent scoop is fitted to fuselage. I will use pro-seal and pop rivets to attach the scoop. You can see the 6 holes for pop rivets

Another view of the scoop on the right side

Scoop viewed from outside

Scoops are all drilled and countersunk. I also fabricated square washers to go with the pop rivets inside the fuselage

Pro-seal is applied, and pop rivets are set

Square washers are used inside of fuselage

started working on the roll bar today, here are the key dimensions

When drilling the bolt holes for attaching roll bar, I did it diffrently from the instruction. I carefully positioned the roll bar per dimensions on plan, then drilled the roll bar together with fuselage. The instruction tells you to drill the fuseage first, then the roll bar will be back drilled later using the holes on fuselage as guide.

Left side fore-aft position. The roll bar gusset on the left side is slightly shorter than the right side (right side has correct length per plan). So I moved the weldment slightly fwd to compensate the difference as you can see here

The roll bar weldment to F721B outboard edge is 7/32" per plan. Here is the measurement on left fwd corner

Measurement on right side, also 7/32" distance

Showing right side fore-aft position of the roll bar weldment.

Another picture for fun
