Finished riveting aft F704 bulkhead, fabracated spacer. However, when drilling one of the 1/4" hole for spacer bolt, the drill went slight off straight, I reamed the hole to make a better fit of the bolt, and found the hole is slightly enlarged on the fwd end (about 1/32", aft end is ok). The only function of this bolt is clamping the spacer between fwd and aft F704 bulkheads, so I think this is OK. But this is a such a critial part, I sent an email to Vans to be sure. Hope Vans will say "it is ok, build on". But I really don't see the bolt will take a huge amount of shear load.

P.S: I got email from Vans, as I expected, Vans say the loose spacer bolts should be ok.

Shop head of shear bar rivet, it is a small, but this rivet will only hold the bar to the web, won't see huge loads.

Spacers are cut. I don't have press drill, so I used scotchbrite wheel to do the final trim. The flushness and flatness are not great, but will be ok

The length is per plan
