I started cleanning, priming and painting the crotch strap brackets, then had the nutplates installed on the brackets. I decieded to use the pop rivets to rivet the brackets to the ribs, just because these rivets are supplied with the crotch bracket kit. I know many builders used solid rivets here when installing bracket at this stage of build, and I could use solid rivets, but I just go with Van's instruction, it should be just find. After that, I started riveting the seat brackets to the center bulkhead. Just finished two ribs.

Edge margin of the holes look good

Crotch strap brackets are painted

Nutplate is used to drill the rivet holes for the nutplate

Even I can use solid rivets for the brackets, I still used the provided pop rivets.

Brackets are done
