After reading articles on line, I finally got the ideal how the mixture and throttle control should work. It turned out that I need to reclock the control arms of the two.

The mixture control uses a straight arm

Throttle control arm is a Z shape

There is a slight interference between the straight mixture control arm and the screw (top one in this picture) after re-clocking the arm, so I swamped the throttle and mixture control arms, so now the Z arm is used for mixture and the clearance issue is gone

The other control extreme position for mixture, no interference

This picture shows clearly the Z control arm for mixture

The straight arm is now used on throttle control

Throttle fully open position

At full open position, the clearance between the straight arm and the stop pin is not great. I have to address this issue
