ELT got from Aircraft Spruce is mounted. It turned out to be a difficult task because the nutplates I installed per Van's instruction don't fit the ELT mounting tray. I had to drill the mounting bracket, and use blind rivet to install the tray since there is no way to add nutplates now without drilling the brackets out. I don't see the need to remove the mounting tray in the future, so I guess the rivets should be fine.
