The fwd edge of the left air ramp is marked for trimming to fit the lower cowl
This picture showing the side of the left air ramp is already trimmed. This turned out to be a mistake because I need to install the air filter here, I wish I didn't trim the side so there will be more material on the side to support the air filter and snorkel.
Another picture of the left air ramp and side baffle
I don't know what I want to show here. Just a picture
Left baffles so far
Right side air ramp is bent along the diagonal line so the front edge will match the lower cowl
Left side air ramp is bent along the diagonal line. (P.S. However, I had to flatten it when installing the air filter later)
Time to work on the air inlet snorkel. I taped a cylinder about the same same size as the snorkel end (I used the prop plug removed from the C/S prop during its installation)
The snorkel is rotated for proper location, then clamped to the throttle body flange. You can see that the snorkel side is flush with the air ramp side. I shouldn't have had trimmed the air ramp per instruction.
Clearance is good around the snorkel
I used the gasket for fastener location. The inlet is not perfectly centered with the throttle body inlet, but I don't think this will matter much because the the airflow is not blocked
I then trmmed the snorkel and air ramp to fit.
Support bracket is clamped to snorkel
Lower cowl flange needs some trimming to fit the snorkel
Support bracket is drilled to snorkel
Air filter is fitted to the snorkel and air ramp
More support brackets are drilled to snorkel. I had to deviate from the instructions from snorkel and baffle kit because the snorkel is too far out when installed
The air filter fits pretty well
